I know what it’s like to suffer from anxiety and what a panic attack looks and feels like.

I would like to rephrase the words “panic” and “attack”.

They don’t help those of us who’ve had to experience them.

They do the opposite by invoking negative feelings within us, causing fear, and making things worse.

I can help you understand your ‘anxiousness’, help you determine what’s causing it and then guide you in releasing it.

From childhood trauma to current life; we all experience traumatic events that shape us.  Trauma is often described as not just a psychological experience, but a somatic one—meaning it’s stored in the body. The body can hold memories of trauma in the form of muscle tension, physical pain, or even the way we move or posture. This is sometimes called somatic memory.

For example, a person who experienced childhood abuse may hold tension in their shoulders or neck without consciously knowing why. Similarly, people who have experienced emotional or physical trauma may unconsciously guard certain areas of their body, or exhibit defensive postures. Over time, these body patterns can become habitual, affecting physical health and overall well-being. These physical imprints can also affect movement, breathing, and how a person relates to their body.

Healing from trauma requires addressing both the physical and psychological components, helping you restore balance and reclaim a sense of safety and well-being. Understanding how trauma works—by disrupting the body, brain, and emotions—can be the first step in the healing process.

People often seek counselling or hypnotherapy for similar reasons. Combining both in a session has proven effective, accelerating the healing toward the envisioned new and better life.

I'm here to assist you whether you prefer counselling or are open to hypnotherapy.
Regarding hypnotherapy, let's address the confusion. It's crucial to highlight the term 'therapy'.

Every aspect is therapeutic, and during hypnosis, you remain in control. Hypnosis is a natural state experienced daily, like daydreaming or getting absorbed in a movie or book.

There are many kinds of grief; what I primarily focus on is complex grief and more specifically suicide grief and MAID (medical assistance in dying).

This is where I have my own life experience as well as an understanding that this specialized grief is under recognized and under supported.

I work with those who are left behind when loved ones either chose to die by suicide or chose MAID.

There are no judgements, here, only compassion and understanding as I assist you in navigating through these life changing decisions.
